Wow G&B sounds like you had a bit of trouble there:eek:
no wonder you are tired - hope this weekend is a bit easier and you catch up. are you enjoying uni despite being tired??

I am really enjoying my course. Algebra and calculus are probably my best modules, statistics and accounting are less enjoyable but still ok:D

Be warned, this week's thread is pretty long already, so don't attempt to read the whole thing! Read the first post, and then skip to the end, which is current activity. Good luck!

Got to echo that, there will be a new thread on Sunday, but till then just read first post thoroughly and then ask away - HHC's (half hour challenges) are great as they are fun and you get an awful lot done in half hour - plus there is the added bonus of knowing others are joining you - just stick the music up loud and start...

  • Course is going really well thanks. I'm just permanently knackered at the moment! Last weekend didnt help, i usually get the weekends to catchup on sleep but it was a bit manic. Had a really late night from work last friday, was a complete nightmare of a shift. I've worked there for 6 years and we've had bomb scares, riot police during the G8 summit etc, but never in a single shift have we had to call all 3 emergency services:eek: Then had to be up early saturday morning, worked saturday night then was out all day at a christening on sunday. Feel like i've been chasing my tail all week.

Hope you have a great weekend this weekend to make up for it... take care...

Right, have now put freezer in the garage - mission and a half getting it up the step! , set my new table up but have no-where for the jogger to go now... will have to think about that one... don't really want it in the front room but at the moment that's the only place left...

Have sorted out all the freecycle stuff and 4 items already being collected later today.

Am about to have lunch and a cuppa while I watch H&A as it doesn't tax the mind...:D See you in a bit...

    Hi,

I'm mainly a lurker on this forum but just wanted to ask for some advice regarding houswork. Here's my situation:

We're pretty good at keeping on top of the laundry, emptying the bins and washing up, but I'm ashamed to say the flat needs a good clean. I really want to get into a routine for when we move. Any advice greatly appreciated. Thanks

lurking is not good enough - join in :D
firstly you'll know there are others out there with the same problems you have! - then it's a good laugh! and lots of help too!!!
the secret i gues is don't start off taking on too much.
    babysteps ... babysteps ..
soon it will get into a routine and things are getting much easier!!

I have two brothers and their families just outside Melbourne. We went a few yeas ago and loved it but I became ill before we were planning to go and now they won't take me because I am too old.

I worked my socks off, doing a Masters degree to ensure they would take me and my family, and working full time as a teacher. I even visited schools whilst I was out there. I haven't been to Adelaide. I have heard it is lovely. I wish you all the best and I am sure you will love it too.

We are hoping to get our business up and running next year and o then be able to have a holiday out there to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary.
I can dream about it even if we don't succeed straight away.

shame that you can't do it anymore! but there are so many ways to get a visa .. maybe a business visa?!?
good luck with getting your business up :T
