Good morning / afternoon (I'm not sure which it is). I won't have time to start flying until after school today. I just stopped by to look at the jobs list. Hope you are all well. xFool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times and I'll smash your face in.0

I have been a very good flylady today :A - I have tided the kitchen, wiped all the sides down as most of it was done last night, emptied DW and have put back on as DS hadn't put grill tray or baking tray in out of the oven plus all the brekkie stuff as we had sausage sarnies for brekki as I was feeling peckish (have been up since 5.30am and we had brekkie at 7.45!), then I quick tided the front room and vacuumed through downstairs to get rid of all the dog hair.
Then I dismantled the small table we had in the kitchen, put up the nice [strike]new[/strike] second-hand one we just got from freecycle - nice big pine one seats 6 instead of small round sits 4, emptied the back of the garage and cleaned it up to put my new freecycled tall freezer in (coz there is not enough room in the kitchen now for my new table) and freecycled all the stuff that was in there coz I'm sick of getting it in and out - 11 items including the table I have just dismantled.
Plus somewhere between doing all that, I had to go for a Smear test, which was as horrible as ever and the mean nurse gave me a flu jab too (I think you might know her Pigpen?) So now I am having a cuppa and a catchup before I move the freezer and tidy up the kitchen again because all the freecycle stuff is in there everywhere...
Will get back to my lists after that I think...
EDIT: Ohh, forgot to ask all you lovely ladies if you wanted a cup... Only just had time to catch up on the thread. We are going to Melbourne, well just outside but want to go to Adelaide before we settle to see if we prefer it!!
Hope that you have a lovely time, who are you flying with??
XX
I have two brothers and their families just outside Melbourne. We went a few yeas ago and loved it but I became ill before we were planning to go and now they won't take me because I am too old.
I worked my socks off, doing a Masters degree to ensure they would take me and my family, and working full time as a teacher. I even visited schools whilst I was out there. I haven't been to Adelaide. I have heard it is lovely. I wish you all the best and I am sure you will love it too.
We are hoping to get our business up and running next year and o then be able to have a holiday out there to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary.
I can dream about it even if we don't succeed straight away.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

Hi,
I'm mainly a lurker on this forum but just wanted to ask for some advice regarding houswork. Here's my situation:
I've never been organised with housework. I think the situation has gone downhill since my husband became ill two years ago and I'm now the main person responsible for keeping the flat clean and tidy. My husband was registered blind in March this year, but still has a tiny amount of vision. He has stated that he'd still liked to do some housework so he mainly does the laundry, although not ironing obviously!
Becuase of our situation we've both had to give up work. We currently live in a one bedroom flat which has five rooms: large living room, small kitchen, small bathroom, small bedroom and small hallway. We've applied to move to a two bedroom flat/bungalow through council housing, so we'll move but we don't know when.
We're pretty good at keeping on top of the laundry, emptying the bins and washing up, but I'm ashamed to say the flat needs a good clean. I really want to get into a routine for when we move. Any advice greatly appreciated. Thanks0 -
Oops I forgot this was about flying.
Pigpen, I can't do master bedroom as his lordship is asleep in bed and when awake is feeling very sorry for himself.
He did get one day at work. I am being positive, it is better than none. He couldn't have worked today anyway as the weather is atrocious, gale force winds and driving rain.
Today's list
Ring solicitor re mortgage
Ring building society re building insurance
Vacuum all downstairs flors
Mop kitchen floor
Bake bread and banana cake
5 loads washing (I don't know where I am going to hang it all)
