  • Evening ladies.

Just having myself a quick catch up before bed. Had a bit of a grotty day with DS2. He's really constipated again, so then he was really sick after his nightime feed. Grim. Thankfully Charlie is really good at passing me stuff (eventually) once i get through to him what i need.

Not much flying done as such, but i did the dailies, had to rewash a dark load from the other day, then hung it up, and i washed a load of bibs. I also did a bit of bulk cooking - made a spag bog in the SC, and fed DS1 and us with it, took some out and made mini mash topped pies for another meal for DH and me, and then it's done 2 x double portions of chilli, so another 3 nights meals sorted. I might then get some housework done in one of the other nights where i don't need to cook.

My hands are really cracked and bleeding again - so i need to get some gloves i think.

My brain is mush again. Must get DH to put the bin out, and i'll go get kids clothes ready for tomorrow, then i'd best get in bed i think as i'll no doubt be up at 5 again in the morning, roll on the weekend.

Grrrrrrrrrrr as some of you will know. Last night, I cleaned my DW with soda crystals.
Today, I have a squeaky drawer and a white residue on the whole of the inside of the DW. Still there even after going through a cycle. What did I do wrong? And how do I get rid of it?

Sorted it. For future reference scrub it with a non scratch scrubby pad and a bit of washing up liquid. i will not be using soda crystals again.

Cor.. noone ever listens!! Soda crystals are good for nought... ok.. they are fairly ok for cleaning the cooker top.. but not as good as sugar soap...

stardrops and bleach.. cleans everything in here..
