Heard from someone who works in Tradex that it is closing all stores

in Shop but don't drop
at end of January, most stock will be reduced to clear but not sure if this will be before or after christmas.

    Thanks for the tip - might get some bargains.

    I was never that impressed with them though, as the bargains they advertised in their leaflets were nearly always out of stock. So, no real loss then.

    I know what you mean, I wanted a Me To You watch which were advertised at £5 but my friend said she never saw them.

    I will also be sorry to see them go. I've bought some really good bargains in the past.

    You'd think with fewer stores they will have less buying power so I presume the bargains will dry up. I presume Harehills is going?

    Their website has no information on it, but has had a complete redesign since I last looked, and now includes online shopping - so I guess they are not totally going.

    No idea, but Pudsey is their main/head office store. Harehills is going, yes. I understand formal notices/signs go up early January.

    Oh, well - Pudsey is nearer me anyway - I just seem to end up at Harehills more often for some reason ;)

    I wonder what that become - a new Tesco/Asda/Sainsbury's would be nice.

    I used to go to the Harehills store all the time. Since I moved to Huddersfield a new store opened here.

    It has only been opened a few years.... I wonder what the new store will be when it closes down?
