Hey all, its been a lovely day here today so my first thing is not putting the heater on, even tho its been freezing haha!
I have been to the gym (no point paying for it if I don't go) and took my own bottle of water.
Had my tea from the cupboard and its a stayin-in film night for me because I took advantage of the sale in hmv yesterday and got some brilliant dvds for £3-£7 each.

Also, Tallie - just seen your signature for the first time, you've cleared so much well done!!

    Hope you are all well!

    Hi,

    • Brought a reduced cake mix for DH Xmas hamper (damaged packaging) 75p and tin of tomatoes 10p and a few items to make DS a birthday cake
    • DH brought back some birthday cake from a friends birthday
    • DH got a free drawstrig bag on his first visit to gym he has rejoined
    • DH got a bike tyre for £14.99 instead of £23.99 as it was mispriced but they honoured it
    • Got 2 large reusable bags of shopping from Lidl filled with fruit and veg for £7.55 (DH paid)
    • Gave gas and electric meetings online
    • Used 99p of my WH Smith card points to get a magazine

    Hi All,

Hello to the regulars and all the new posters

Lovely day here - at least all, the rain is doing the weeds (garden) good

    Today I have.......
    • used a petrol voucher when I filled up £50.02 reduced to £47 something - hubby will give me back £40
    • Declined an offer to go out for dinner (free) - instead had chicken and chips and a nice shower (ready for work tomorrow)
    • Bought a WW magazine - there are some really good recipies in there, and I like reading all the sucess stories
    • Checked my online banking - cross matched this with my budget spreadsheet, and I should still have £50 left over for emergencies
    • used value shower gel - it is really bad - chemically smell, and makes my skin so dry, but I refuse to throw it out
    • when I went shopping yesterday, I bought nettle and spearmint teabags - I have PCOS, and I am desperate to lessen the severity of it and nettle tea is recommended
    • today I discovered that I can not eat chocolate - basically, it goes through me (sorry, I know it is gross). So, rather than be really ill, and lose all my teeth - I no longer eat chocolate (will also help with PCOS symptoms)
In the past week (post holiday) I have...
    • posted off my application to join the Boots consumer panel
    • had a sort out in the bathroonm, and lined up all the shower gel bottles that I have in volume left to use
Think that is about all, take care
