I am interested in this 'mystery shopping' thing. Can anyone please elaborate on it? It seem's a few members here are using it to make money, and I want to do it too!
Thanks
Exerbusi
Exerbusi, check out the thread on the up your income board, they have quite a lot of info on there and can offer support and advice. Basically its about assessing the quality of customer service within outlets, pubs etc, but doing it so that they don't realise your not a normal shopper.
I do quite a bit of mystery shopping and really enjoy it, but you have to be able to follow the scenario and some can be quite strange!!:j Live on £4500, £2531/£4500:T 101 in 1001 (52/101):j:beer::j

Afternoon all!
Trying hard today so here goes....
* All washing being dried on airers (stepdaughters school uniform hung on oven door whilst I cooked dinner to dry it quicker before she goes home. She'll smell of chicken but never mind eh!)
* Making cakes with said step-daughter this afternoon. Little boy LOVES home-made which is great as it saves me pounds!
* Be ebaying later - some stuff ending this evening so will do some packaging up
* Sort out some stuff for FIL to do car-boot next week...proceeds towards paying for our four night break between crimbo and new year
* Dinner was sausages provided by my Granny and mash supplied by my Mum!!!
Working on other stuff. Will see how it goes
Happy Sundays to you all....

Hi everyone, I’m at work today and can post on here as its not busy. Things seem to be going better today, am on new shift and had the “chat” with new line manager. Hope this is good new start….
But today is overtime so £90 earned after tax, NI and student loan……seeing as I lost all that overtime, every little helps
Just had early lunch form dolmio express in locker….no spend there
Really wanting a cola but I will try and resist and have the cold water from filter machine!
I have got the travelcard for the month too as it will be cheaper than pay as you go and I can go to uni library get some books on days off….paid for this on my CC and will pay strait away on Friday – Payday.
When I get home I will
-Check Piggy Clicks
-Dinner and snacks from cupboards
-Colour in my new roster
-TV night
-Finish my monthly budget for payday on friday
So today really should be a no spend day for a change! Considering the amount of overtime I’ve lost out at work by moving shifts I’ve got to really do this and try much harder so all support is much needed guys!
Exerbusi – welcome! You will see im a long term member of this board! You can do it, I cleared 20k debt in two years by luck getting my job with lots wages, it is shift work though and tons of overtime and sacrifices…I now own my KA (less than 2 yrs old) and only owe my student loan which is now reducing to less than 10k! I will update signature tonight guys!
Yes Painted lady, how awful about the ticket, there is all that around here in London – inspectors!!! We do not like them! Bagpuss well done!!!! My sis is starting her new OU course in nov, I did mine last year I know its hard work and exp now too. Keep it up!
Andan – what a list today!!! Very impressed, hope you are better now without the students! If you need any help promoting the business too – do pass on anything to help pass the word im sure we’ll all give a hand.
I am going to really try this week to be good! No spending! Tomo is the car service but thats going on the credit card to be paid strait away on friday payday!
Enjoy the rest of the day everyone,

Hi Tallie, thanks for your kind words. Am glad work is settling down now and at least you can get cracking with the overtime, your doing really well with the money saved for the student loan though.
My student has literally just left, will be strange but very nice having the place to ourselves once again, just the down side being the finances. Hopefully we will be getting a new one soon!
Am hoping the business will pick up soon, got lots of friends advertising it for me, in fact whilst we were out last night, my friend was trying to get her other friends to take up the offer of a massage!!:j Live on £4500, £2531/£4500:T 101 in 1001 (52/101):j:beer::j
