up to £460 for laptop now - think this may go on hold for a few more months :(

  • I think it's the one inbetween the inspiron and the XPS. Mine was 430 but that was one of the lower spec ones! Still enough for what I need tho!!

we're doing okay ta, hun, mrs g-j's a bit knocked about with the new medication which they're trying to get right for her, but good other than that. As for ds1 and 2, they've been really good today, even let us watch the rugby in peace :D (btw, good win for us today :))

Ahh glad to hear jack, it will take a little while for her meds to settle down and to get the right ones to suit, after which all should be a lot better;)
And yes a brilliant win for our boys today, they come good;):T:T

Note to DC - you don't NEED to spend that much on a reasonable spec lappy....decide what you need it to do, then look for a spec acordingly. Even a new one with a reasonable spec won't cost you that much :)

  • Hello there, owls! I just thought I'd stick my head in and say hi and state *ahem* Only 3 more weeks! Woo! *points to sig for clarification* Also, my best mate is getting married on saturday, and I can't wait! Got lots to do tomorrow, dunno how I am gonna get it all done, I might get up early to get a head start on it all.

  • I didn't get up early, Jack, I tried - set my alarm and everything, but I just switched it off and went back to sleep for a couple of hours. However I did get all my jobs done anyway.

I like this thread, I can have musings and stuff, I have a livejournal but all my friends are on there so sometimes you just want to write something that know one you know in rl can judge you on.

Was saying earlier on another thread that I've been feeling under-appreciated by my housemate that I cook dinner for each night. Very rarely do I get a thanks or a hug, I'm thinking about stopping the meals after I've finished using the food he helped pay for. The time and effort spent just doesn't match up to the rewards, however, I do enjoy cooking nice meals, so I guess I have to learn to cook for one.

I just had a look on google for something to make me feel better and found a nice quote on - of all places- a latter day saints site, so I added it to my siggy. I think I need to find a balance between the sentiment the quote gives and the natural politness and courtousy everyone deserves.
