We've been getting these emails for about 2 months now, but I am not with IPoints or matterbox.
Could it be from a competition we have all entered (are you all compers?).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I sent a very strong letter to hotmail, as they were going straight to my inbox despite me reporting each and everyone of them as "phishing scams" by carefully selectring them to go to my junk box from my inbo, and then from my junk box, selecting them as spam. If yiu just delete them as junk from your inbox, they get deleted, they dont get a chance to be reported.
I haven't had any since. But its only been 48 hours...its early days yet!
I did the same (great minds and all that...:D ) but it didn't work- they were back again with a vengence as I then started getting up to two a day instead of the usual one a day.
I've now added the address to be deleted straight away as it made me feel uneasy and angry when ever i saw them in my inbox.
think I'll go change my password to just to be safe
It's so hard to narrow it down as we've all signed up for numerous freebies but i'm sure matterbox don't have this email address of mine, and they address they do have does not receive these emails.

rather than the usual, random viagra ones.0 -
I get them but haven't signed up for any freebies, so no idea where they come from...just mark them as junk and hope they'll all go straight into junk file eventually. Been getting strange msn 'xyz has added you requests' too, so figure someone/thing has tracked down a list of emails from somewhere0

I get absolutely tons of them but don't think it really has anything to do with freebies. I think they have problems which randomly generates e-mail addresses to send things to.0

Even if you've never signed up for anything, you'll get this stuff sometimes. Nothing you can do about it really, so it's best to just get used to it!
I've found that gmail and googlemail accounts have the best spam filters, I'd say 99% of junk mail gets automatically put into the spam mailbox, and if I click on 'report as spam' it helps it to learn. It manages this without losing my real emails into the spam mailbox, which is nice.
The email we use at work doesn't really filter them, so I get to read them every day... good for a laugh first thing on a Monday morning! Some of them are getting rather inventive too :-)0 -
If you use hotmail, it has been stated on a different forum that there is a way to block it. Though I have just done this so I'm not sure if it works yet.
On the hotmail inbox webpage there is a drop-down menu on the right hand side labelled "options". Open the menu and click on "More Options...". Under the "Junk e-mail" header on the options page is a link labelled "Safe and blocked senders", click this and once the page has loaded click on the "Blocked senders" link. The page that comes up allows you to enter the e-mail address or domain of the person/bot that you would like to block. Add both "admin@viagra.com" and "@viagra.com" to the list and this should hopefully solve all of our problems.
If you are not using Hotmail, I'm sure there must be a similar option available to you if you have a quick look around in your e-mail options/tools.0 -
I am getting so many I thought it was to do with my sons. But it isn`t ,they are grown men so I do believe them.It could cause all sorts of friction in families ,don`t you think? I do know it`s not to do with hubby as he has no problems whatsoever in that department LOL:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:0

I read in the metro because of the uprise in spam of this nature that viagra can now be gotten anonymously completely free over the internet in the uk anyway so lets hope it cuts down the spam..0
