Another Tesco Massive Price Increase

I digress slightly re the bog roll remarks.
Toilet roll can certainly be "new and improved". Remember the tracing paper stuff at school or found in public toilets and train stations (sound like dodgy places I visit, but their not - Just child hood memories, perhaps I should stop there!), anyway. That stuff could make you bleed and was next to useless. You would just end up smearing it half way up your back.
Now, soft dual or even triple layer with aloe vera and puppy's on it, that is improved!
Unfortuanetly the price has not improved. Oh and while on the topic - Tesco Value kitchen roll, now double the number of sheets per roll! However it is now only single ply!! It'll be tracing paper next!0 -
I saw this last week but did not believe it - they have now but their Glace Cherries up to £2.99 from 99p for a normal 200g pack! Strange how it coincides with Christmas cake making season for a lot of people (made mine more than a month ago, unfortunately before Lidl stocked their cherries!)What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0

Their value range tinned sweetcorn has doubled too; it was about 17p and now it's 34p!!0

Online it gives French Glace Cherries as £2.99 anf Tesco Natural Coloured Glace Cherries at 99p.
Is it possible they have displayed them wrong?
However i know ev ery little helps (especially Tesco's bank balance) that i wouldnt rule out what you say.:rotfl:0 -

Tesco Value Curry Sauce, was 4p, today 9p.
Bisquick Pancake Mix, was thirty something pence, today over a pound.
Sorry didn't have pen and paper, and the memory has gone!
went to tesco today and the value curry sauce is now 25p cant believe it why do they keep doing this?If we didnt have to travel 65 miles to sainsbury or morrisons would go thier,It's an honour having such a lovely family and being welsh, what more could a girl want :rotfl:0 -
Its about time the media took this up with Tesco. They are big on the adverts saying how wonderful they are to customers cutting all the prices but we all know they are back handed, put down 10p to be put up by 20p a week later, or silly little price cuts of 1p( i actually saw a big card on an item with this last week ).
What they dont tell anybody is that they are putting things up massively like we are all finding out, and its on the stuff you use every day.
Expect lots more rises on the seasonal items.0 -

The French ones are the red ones in normal use, the "natural coloured" ones are a strange very deep red - almost purple - colour and would look very odd in a cake! The French ones are definitely the ones that I bought for 99p at the end of September! What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
Two weeks ago i paid 68p for tinned boneless skinless pink salmon, i couldn't believe it this week as it is now £1.32!0

Bought some of their own toffee sauce - 49p.
Nice, thought I'd go and get another one - next day it was £1.49.0
