Bulk SMS / Text Messaging from PC

Hi
I send regular text messages to groups of people to keep them updated about events. I used to use Lycos to send them- but haven't done this for a while and wondered if anyone could recommend any other services online.
I'm looking for a simple interface, the ability to store the recipients' phone numbers so I can send a message to numerous mobile numbers at the click of a button.
Also of course, I'm looking for it to be as cheap as possible!
Any recommendations?

I use Cardboard Fish's VIP service which is very reliable and costs 5p per text.

It depends how many texts you want to send. Orange do a plan with 3000 texts a month at a cost of £20pm. If you opt for one of their lower spec phones you get £50 airtime credit which brings the overall monthly cost down to £16. This works out at just over 0.5p per text!

You could use the above with Microsoft's SMS Sender applet to send the texts from your phone using your pc using either a cable or bluetooth connection.

Orange also do a PC messenger, download it and send texts from your computer, receipants can reply to either your computers inbox, or your mobile (you get a seperate number for PC messenger). Take a look at the Orange website. Download and application is free, messages are 8p each but you get 50 free anyway
