Porting from 3

Has any one managed to get a PAC code from 3? Ive called them about ten times and im getting different excuses every time. My contract is due to end on 8th December. Ive warned them if I dont get my PAC before then, they wont be getting any more of my money.
Am I the only one having problem after problem with them?

I got a PAC from them a month ago. The assistant did try to offer me free Nokia N70 with 6 months half price line rental but I did not budge and she eventually (after putting me on hold for 15 mins) give me the code which also came through the post a few days later.

I rang about four times before getting my PAC code, they kept saying someone is going to ring me back but they never.

I got mine quite quickly about a month ago - they made a slight attempt at getting me to stay with them, but if you make it absolutely plain that you're not interested and you just want your PAC, you should get it ok.

By the way, I ported it onto an O2 payg sim, ordered a clearance handset with 12 months free line rental (via chequeback) on 3 from Cool New Mobile, which should be with me tomorrow. I'll now port my number back to 3. Follow all that?

Hi there, I got my PAC code off them yesterday after a bit of hard sell in which I had to keep interrupting saying "just give me the PAC number please".

I am switching to T mobile, there's a good offer on the link. 3 reception isn't so good in my area.

It took me four goes to get a PAC code. One stunt that I have fallen for is that when you first phone up they say they need a months notice, I was expecting this so wasn't a problem. 24 days later I phoned up for the PAC code and it took a few days before they eventually gave it to me. Then it takes two weeks for the number to be ported and magically your 3 contract stays for that period of time....

5th December I'm finally rid of 3. :-)
