Once again on Moneybox, Paul Lewis asked Chris Pond of the FSA (Yes, that 'Chris Pond' - these people really get around between jobs) effectively "Why is there no official list of separately registered 'brands'?" and he was effectively ignored. This is pitiful. If Chris Pond is out of his depth leaving the snug world of low pay and child poverty and Labour ministering then he should get trained up - but telling the public they should 'look for the information' on the FSA and BBA websites which isn't there (Paul Lewis said so) is tosh.

So it seems that you just don't have to have a clue, but know enough how to not answer a direct question these days and you can work in 'regulation'...
