In today's (saturday) Mirror it had a list of all the financial institutions and what banks come under them. It listed Bradford & Bingley being under HBOS. This isnt right is it??? I think they may have made a mistake here is the link:

Looked at the link. It just lists the main banks. I cannot see where in that article it says its a part of HBOS?. In any case its not. Its now part of Abbey under SantanderLiquidity is when you look at your investment portfolio and **** your pants0

With no emphasising on that page, it could be hard to read, it does look wrong.
Bradford & Bingley should have Asda underneath it. But Norwhich Union should be under HBOS. So with emphasis:
Bank of Scotland
Halifax
Aa Financial Services
Birmingham Midshires Solutions Intelligent Finance
Saga
Norwich Union (Savings)
Bradford & Bingley
ASDA
Lloyds TSB Group
Cheltenham & Glouces
Hsbc Bank
First Direct
Royal Bank of Scotland
Direct Line
Virgin Money
Abbey National
Cahoot
Bradford & Bingley
ASDA
Co-operative Bank
Smile
Clydesdale Bank
Yorkshire Bank
NatWest Bank
No other brands
Barclays Bank
No other brands
Alliance & Leicester
No other brands
This is not a complete list, this is me just tidying up the Mirror's version.0 -

But Norwhich Union should be under HBOS
Just for clarification for those that dont realise it, that means Norwich Union savings account which is a white labelled bank of scotland product. Not Norwich Union insurance, pensions and investments where Norwich Union is under AVIVA for FSCS protection.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
