I emailed the seller on Monday, saying that as she hadn't received the vouchers, I was going to have to put in a claim with the Royal Mail as they have obviously been lost or stolen en-route to her, so it was quite likely that they would contact her to verify they hadn't been received. I then said that luckily I had made a note of the serial numbers (I hadn't, but the post further up gave me the idea) so I would contact M&S to see if I could get them stopped, assuming that they hadn't been used, but even if they had they would be able to trace which store had taken them.
This morning, logged in to see that the Paypal dispute has been closed by the buyer. :T
I am very tempted to email her and ask why she closed it though :rotfl:
Very glad this little ploy worked for you. I too would make them squirm and email them to ask why the dispute has been cancelled.0 -
Hi
What a nightmare for you to go through!
Such auctions are becoming increasingly difficult for both Buyers & Sellers. I guess that I may be becoming more cynical with time and experience but I think that this buyer was trying it on - she probably went on the RM site and tracked the number to find that it did not say delivered or proof of signature and thought she could have the cake and eat it!!! I am very glad that you had the sense to make a note of the vouchers codes so that they could be traced in terms of use.
I think it is terrible that RM advised you not to make a claim as they felt it could be fraudulent and you would get in trouble - absolutely crazy! Mind you I too am having problems with RM Special delivery where they will not pay out on damage caused in post! So I am guessing that we all have to look for alternate companies other than RM!
Anyway, good luck to you!0 -

I recently sent a package using Special Delivery.
The online Tracking system says Delivered and there is a ePOD atached. But the ePOD does not have a signature or name on it. It just has a stamp that says EPOD VERIFIED. The recepient say they haven't received it. The ePOD has 20 barcodes on it(I assume that 20 items have been delivered to the same recepient)
How do I prove that my package was delivered to the correct recepient and not to some wrong address ?0 -
was it a buisiness address?0
