    I know earlier posts stated that the Nokia 3330 phones needed a cable, but the sites listed below said they can unlock the mobile with a code e-mailed to you, if this is so, is this available without paying?

    Just a thought, cos I either pay £10 to a local shop to unlock my phone or I pay £10 for a cable, either way I pay.  I want it FREE. (If possible.) :-/
    Yes, you can unlock a 3330 without a data cable and without spending a tenner. I managed to do my one today using this site. http://www.unlockme.co.uk Good luck!

    There is now a way to unlock DCT3 phones (3310, 3210, etc..) by code from the following website:

    http://www.trycktill.com/eng/nokiamobiledct3.asp

    Also here are some unlocking codes for Samsungs:

    Samsung SGH-600:
    *2767*3855# - full EEPROM reset (Removes SP-Lock);
    *2767*2878# - custom EEPROM reset;

    Samsung S100, S300, V200:
    *2767*7822573738#

    Samsung S105:
    *2767*7822573738#, after reboot enter #0111*00000000# phone must display 'Personalization cancelled', after that it's unlocked

    Samsung A300, A800:
    *2767*637#

    Samsung X100, S500, E700:
    *2767*688#
    On some new phones this codes may not work!
    PS be carefull, this codes could reset your phone to factory default settings!

    I am not sure if all work, i know the E700 unlock code works though.

    I tried this one in a brand new A800 locked to virgin, but it didn't work. I could have credited £30 to the phone and virgin would have unlocked it for free, but I didn't really like the phone so will be sending it back.

    If you leave me your IMEI number and the Network that the phone is locked to I can give you the codes to unlock it.

    Re: E700 unlocking

    I haven't had my hands on an E700 so am unsure on how you would enter the * but I would imagine it would be the button with * on it, maybe button 7 like on a Nokia. You made need to press it a couple of times to get it

    The bottom left button has the * on it but on pressing that button when asked for the network code nothing comes up on the screen.

    Have you got a sim in it? Try it without one in.

    When asked for the network code just type in the rest of the code. I'm not to sure how it is done but i told a mate of mine to do this and worked fine for him
