sky hd

got the chance to get sky hd for £49 instead of £150:beer: is it actually worth getting hd,or isnt the difference noticeable??

    Depends on your tv. But just plugging a hdtv through a hdmi will have a decent effect, HD will be even better (Though bare in mind, most channels are NOT in HD)

    £49 is a good price but other than a couple of free channels you will have to pay £10 a month for the HD channels. I have heard rumours that this will be dropped soon.

    If you have an HDTV then I would say £49 could be worth it for the free stuff.

    If you subscribe to movies and sports anyway then paying the extra £10 could be worth it also.

    i have sports but no movies,will see my cousin and see if i can get off with the £10 a month bit

    will have to check my tv out,but think its a full hd 42" plasma/lcd
