Switching mobiles - too many decisions!

I'm sure that I must be able to get a much better deal on my mobile phone. At the moment I'm with T-mobile's Off-peak deal: 200 mins cross network for £16.50. I usually end up spending c.£30 though, once I've paid for my daytime calls.

I really want to cut the monthly bill down to £20 so I rang T-mobile & tried the PAC trick to see if I could get a better deal. It didn't work. Now I'm sifting through all of the other packages to try to figure out what might be the best deal. Talk about information overload! I've seen so much info on free phones & different plans that I haven't got a clue what day of the week it is any more ::) All I know is that I want one of those really modern PC compatible phones (free, of course) and a tarrif of no more than £20 per month with lots of free mins & texts. Oh, and a couple of headache tablets to get over the strain of trying to find the best deal. Surely that's not too much for a girl to ask?!

You dont say how you use your calltime ie do you need as many off peak mins? as voda/orange online you can get 120/100 mins a month some even with free textx for about the £15-25 mark or t mob are doing some with 1/2 price line rental for 6 months but i think they are tying u into a 18 month contract.

O2 do an online plan with 50 mins of anytime X network with 500 Text messages for £19 a month, and you can get a K700i FREE.
Or you can have 100 mins and 500 texts for £25 a month.

I think I've decided that I need around 150 anytime cross-network minutes per month plus 100 texts. I've managed to persuade T-Mobile (my current provider) into offering me their half price line rental deal, even though I'm not a new customer, but I'll be tied in for 18 months and I won't get a new phone.

Orange seem to have a similar deal in terms of price, I'd only have to sign a 12 month contract and I'd get a new phone. However, I've always been with T-Mobile & am a bit nervous about switching supplier. I've also seen ads for Three which look really good. There's some serious thinking to be done over the weekend!

- you'll get all the free minutes you need plus a £200 phone thrown in. E2save are part of Carphonewarehouse so pretty decent. Plus you'll save on your original deal.

Thanks for the link. I hadn't realised that E2Save are a part of the Carphone Warehouse. This is by far the best deal I've seen so I'll definitely go with it.

That's one decision made - now all I have to do is choose one of the three phones ;D
