Hi, please can anyone advise me on what is the better one of the 2.
I know that they are lower end and therefore a lower price but i just want opinions on which one you would recommend?
It is the Ariston Microgenus 24k and the Biasi riva 32k I have a small home to heat, 5 radiators so i know the 24k would be sufficient but is the biasi a better make.
I cannot afford to pay more for a boiler right now so these are my 2 options.
All advice appreciated
thanks in advance.

There really is no answer to your question on the better make.
Boiler X might have been brilliant 10 years ago, but the firm be bought up by another firm and their lastest model rubbish, and we won't find out for a couple of years.
Boiler Y just the opposite.
It is like cars. Mercedes had a tremendous deserved reputation for reliability and then started building some models in third world countries and for some years turned our dreadful cars.
Skoda had a deserved reputation as a joke, VW bought them and gradually the cars became better and better.
Who knows what a new model Merc or Skoda bought today will be like in 5 years.0 -
Ok is there anyone who has these boilers?
How have they been for you?
Any help appreciated.0 -
Hi, both these boilers are poor in terms of breakdowns. I know because I have to fix the things. For the amount of money you are spending, have a look at Main boilers. They are as close to a Baxi boiler as you can get. Very cheap too. I pay less than £480 for the 24kw one and this includes the flue, timer and a filling loop and the VAT! The 30kw goes out at £595. These are far superior than the two you have mentioned. HTH ..........Gordon.0

That helps. My friend also has a Biasi and she has also not had any bother with it.
The best price i have for the 32k biasi riva fitted is £900 so i am just going to go ahead now.0 -
Is it still working OK, as I am planning for one now.0

I have fitted 3 Biasi boilers and not a problem with them in 3/5 years. (fingers crossed) I have a Baxi duo tec on the top of my list for my own house.0
