    Do you have the AV red white and yellow plugs on your tv, sometimes there on the front or side of the tv? the WII works quite happy through there or a secondary scart socket, if you have only one scart socket you can buy a switchable extension for it, but dont get the cheapy ones from the pound shop they just dont work that well (in my experience), pay a bit more and it will be better qualitky, something that looks like this http://www.germes-online.com/catalog/87/18/375/90256/scart_cable.html

    I think the best bet is to buy a switchable extension for it.

    Bare in mind, the boxes (especially the cheap ones) tend to REALLY degrade the signal
