Is it possible to connect both the wii console and a sky box to one tv, if so how?

Thanks

It depends on what inputs are available on your TV.You should be able to connect your Sky box via scart and the Wii via component, scart or composite connections.

Let us know what TV you have, or at least what inputs it has, and we'll be able to gve you a more definite answer.

So does the wii connect diretly through the tv or through the sky box?

    Directly into the TV.

    Directly into the TV.

In that case there is no space in the tv to put both the sky box and the wii. Is there any other way round it?

I have a fairly old TV which has a Sky box, PS2 and Wii all connected and working quite happily

All depends on what your TV is capable of coping with

Don't really know, but can't find anywhere to connect the wii, apart from when i take the sky connection off.

Do you have the AV red white and yellow plugs on your tv, sometimes there on the front or side of the tv? the WII works quite happy through there or a secondary scart socket, if you have only one scart socket you can buy a switchable extension for it, but dont get the cheapy ones from the pound shop they just dont work that well (in my experience), pay a bit more and it will be better qualitky, something that looks like this http://www.germes-online.com/catalog/87/18/375/90256/scart_cable.html

Yeah, a scart extension would seem to be your best bet. As mentioned above, DON'T get one from the pound shop. My dad did and it ended up straight in the bin it was so awful.

If so you could buy a lead for the wii like this one ~

The quality is tv dependant, but my old philips one was better quality than the scarts!
