No idea if it feels like its gone but its what AA said and its what garage are saying. Some engineer bloke says that if its wear and tear that has caused clutch to go then there would have been signs on the clutch cable indicating this. Hey I know nothing about this kind of stuff i'm just trying to help my boy. To me it just doesn't sound right.

    Thanks for your help

Clutches are normally excluded as wear and tear, but, after 3 months, then surely this must be a manufacturing fault, or severe abuse. I suspect anyone who will ride a harley to Alicante, must be a reasonable rider with a degree of mechanical sympathy. Your son should escalate this, as this seems unacceptable, also does he belong to any of the Harley forums ? might be worth posting to see if this is a common problem ?
