If not, then you are just spouting bitter nonsense based on your own failure to get a console. I pre-ordered on 7th September and my console arrived yesterday, you could of done the same. Live with it and stop !!!!!ing at those of us who could see this would happen and pre-ordered early.
Yes and No here - in real terms only a very small percentage of xbox360s are being resold so i agree with what you're saying. BUT bear in mind that most kids only decide what they want for christmas in november time, that gave parents no chance to even preorder them.0 -

effort doesnt create additional xboxes. Doesnt matter how much effort people put in, there still are not enough to go around especially as the majority of them have been bought just to sell at a higher price to those mums and dads who had no chance of getting one.
like I said, a full time mother and worker left early or took a day off to get there for 4, a shift worker paid someone 20 quid to get in the queue till she finished at 9 and a girl with a disabled daughter who needs round the clock care managed to get one by queuing for 6-8 hours, there are no excuses for 'mums and dads who had no chance', yes it was difficult to get one i'll admit though, but NOT impossible with just a little thought and planning on the 1st
there weren't enough to go round, so the xboxes went to those that worked harder than the rest for them..........my bum's still sore from sitting for nearly 8 hours :-), I had the chance of personally getting 3 units, I got only one and gave others a chance, colleagues in work have asked me to sell ones they have gotten though, which i've done
besides, it's christmas, it's all semantics, I'm sure we'll all go through this again when the Playstation 3 is out. it's human nature to wait till last minute!money saving my @rse.
I've spent 10x as much as I would if I had never discovered this website :-)

I think that is an appalling thing to say. A lot of people will have found it impossible to be in the right place at the right time on a specific day. Everyone has different commitments, some of which prevent us from being able to queue for hours on a certain day. Not everyone is lucky enough to have someone available to look after their children, stand in the queue for them, etc, as and when they need it.
Plus, I'm sure there will be plenty of mums and dads who preordered the xbox, or who stood in a queue but weren't lucky enough to get on of the few the shops had in stock.0 -
I agree, it is an absolutely ridiculous thing to say.
If ALL the mums and dads queued for 12 hours in wherever, this would still not make any more consoles appear out of thin air - it would just obviously mean those that had only been queuing for 8 hours were now not going to get one. Where does this end? when people have been queuing for 8 days?
The fact is there were not enough consoles, and this has been massively compounded by the people who have bought them PURELY to make a bit of quick xmas cash out of those that had no chance of being able to queue for 12 hours.
I know that I was extremely lucky to get mine, I didn't have the money to preorder one in August (I am self employed and have to work money around when I finish large projects that can take over a couple of months) and with a disabled brother to look after with nobody else capable of doing this available I could not queue for 8 hours. I fortunately stumbled upon comet at 7am after looking over the web for two hours.
Sorry but its just a very very narrow minded thing to say and makes no logical sense at all.
Just to clarify, yes I have got one, I had the option of buying several of them (I have the spare money at the moment) but refused to. I am not bitter that I havent got one at all and that just goes to show a misinformed agressive defence of your lack of morals. I'm not going to stand here and slate people, it is human nature afterall to look for the easy way to make money, but I for one won't partake if it is directly to the detriment to other people.

Can someone help me??
I ordered a XBox core pack and fully loaded from ASda Entertainment. They sent me a confirmation that i will get getting the full-loaded pack on the 28th Nov.
I didn't receive anything on Fri. So i called them up to and they said a mistake was made, and they have none left of the Fully Loaded pack but he is trying to find me a Core pack....will call me monday.
I am so angry that they have messed me around! They confirmed i will be getting it and now they said it's all gone!!
What can i do?? Boo hoo!!A shadowy flight into the dangerous world of a man who does not exist.
