help needed with nokia 3230 mp3 player
just got me new nokia, just one question, i can transfer the files fine to the phone but i was wondering if you can somehow reduce the song (say, cut it by half or miss out the intro) so it takes up less memory? any ideas? thanks.
Fr. Stack: While you were out, I got the keys to your car. And drove it into a big wall. And if you don't like it, tough. I've had my fun, and that's all that matters.

I use Nero Wave Editor to cut songs down to about 30 second clips to use as ringtones. Its part of Nero Enterprise Edition. Never bother with whole songs because to be frank I think the Mp3 player on this phone sounds crap. Had my 3230 for just over 2mths. Lovely phone, apart from the mp3 player.
Hope you enjoy.0 -

I use a data cable. If you're using the Nokia software you should be able to choose the folder where it goes normally. I'm not sure if this is the same for infrared though.0 -
thanks but i havent got a cable yet. with all my other nokias i did it straight thru the infra red then you choose where to put the song-with this one it goes straight to my text messaging folder......Fr. Why dont you use a ogg player instead.Files are half the size of a mp3 and sound better.
