I can quite see why you are outraged.
Have you considered demanding compensation for all your suffering?

Looks like you invented tetchy yourselfThis is a the VENT board - get with the programme!
Funny, because you haven't figured people start business's to make money, not to hopefully break even or make a loss. They have an overhead using a call centre, why shouldn't it pay for itself?Hey thanks Dave old chap, I never thought of that. What a spiffing idea

Think you'll find he's taking the !!!!.
Do they hold a gun to your head forcing them to stay with them then?
Any other business's your planning to dicate how they're run?0 -

At the risk of repeating myself THIS IS A VENT BOARD - for goodness sake get with it. :wall:
To criticise someone for having a rant on the vent board just makes yourself look incrediby foolish:o:o:o. Had I posted this just about anywhere else, you may (and I say may) have had a point. But since Martin himself has commented on the use of these numbers - I doubt he would have a problem with my post wherever it appeared.:money::money::money:

So Capital One would not be making money without the use of these numbers? I think you are being a tad naive if you think that's the case:rolleyes2. You no doubt also approve of them using cheap Third World Labour too - if it saves them money - that's just unbelievable:eek:.
Think you'll find he's taking the !!!!.
But you have to ask yourself - out of whom:rolleyes:. It looked like irony to me - look it up, it isn't a misspelling for something you flatten clothes with :rotfl:.
Any other business's your planning to dicate how they're run?
Why? Which one do you work for? Tell me and I'll try to make it top of my list

Oh, thats an eye opener! So Capital One would not be making money without the use of these numbers?
So financial institutions never go out of business? Theres this thing you can watch called the news!!!!!But you have to ask yourself - out of whom:rolleyes:. It looked like irony to me - look it up, it isn't a misspelling for something you flatten clothes with :rotfl:.
Try looking up the rest of his posts, you like laughing, now you can do it out of the other side of your face!!!!!!:rotfl:0 -
Oh, thats an eye opener!
Is it? It seems it's you who's having trouble grasping it . duh!
I have you sussed now though - YOU ARE that Harry Enfield Tim character, so I claim my £10.:T:T:T:T:T:T
If you don't agree with the money saving ethos of this site, why stay? Or are you just one of those annoying little wasps at a summer picnic? What on earth are you doing here if the purpose is to support big businesses ripping off the consumer? Why don't you go to the CBI site and kiss @ss there?
Perhaps you are just too old and too tired to be bothered taking on the 0870/0845 con merchants - best get back in your bath chair and leave it to the young 'uns - granddad

So financial institutions never go out of business? Theres this thing you can watch called the news!!!!!
Oh please - it's a tough time for everyone, this whole credit crunch has been brought on entirely by the irresponsible greed of the financial institutions - now chickens are coming home to roost and everyone is going to pay. It's not so much watching the news - it's understanding what you are looking at. :wall::wall::wall:
Try looking up the rest of his posts, you like laughing, now you can do it out of the other side of your face!!!!!!:rotfl:
My sincere apologies, for mistakenly crediting the poster with the wit for irony and thanks for pointing out that he hasn't. :doh:Although he speaks very highly of you!
If the purpose of this forum is to support big business ripping off the consumer - then I am missing something  and so is Martin Lewis:money: and all the hundreds of thousands other genuine money saving members - so perhaps you should tell him to abandon this site because you know best and you're not happy? Are you for real, or what...???!!!
Who's the kid now then - spitting your dummy out? Alas I think your dentures might be nearer the mark :rotfl:.Some people hear voices, some see invisible people. Others have no imagination whatsoever

So you expect them to do everything for free then? Lets hope you're not let near the running of any business, it would go bust in minutes!one of those annoying little wasps at a summer picnic
Also known as free-loaders.
Bit deluded aren't you. Would you like me to explain to you how to use the quote function so it comes out in the correct format?I have you sussed now though - YOU ARE that Harry Enfield Tim character, so I claim my £10.0 -
I think it was Heinz who advised on the Telephones board that the local/national rate differentials were abolished in 2004 (?), so for companies to still say "local rate" for having an 0845 number is perhaps a little misleading.0
-
Unfortunately Capital One are becoming like a lot of other rip-off merchants!
Capital One have been using 0845 numbers for a while, how long have you been a customer?
If you don't like it vote with your feet and use another credit card company, there are enough of them to choose from.0 -
There's not many businesses that don't use 0845 nowadays.0
