Orange. Should I stay or should I go?

My current contract with Orange runs out in a couple of weeks, and I was wondering what the opinions of folks here are on whether I should stay with them or go elsewhere.
I'm on a package that gives me up to 8Mbps (although recently it's been horrendously slow in the evenings) with a 2GB cap (I don't really use that much, not a heavy downloader) and free Evening / Weekend calls through their livebox thingummy. I'm paying £12.99 per month at the moment for this.
Are there any better deals that may suit me, or should I stick with orange's very mediocre performance and variable customer service? I can't seem to find much better than £12.99 - I'm on a fairly rural exchange and none of the LLU packages or anything other than plain vanilla ADSL / ADSL Max are available.
Thanks
David

Reasonable use, yes. In fact, we've got so used to using the VoIP phone, that we sometimes forget and make charged calls through Orange too."In all affairs it's a healthy thing now and then to hang a question mark on the things you have long taken for granted." - Bertrand Russell0
