So Im going to have to get saving to get the deposit together!0 -
Have you thought about negotiating with a local hotel who has a nice penthouse suite that is rarely used and start organising them there - you can then get a feel for the process and even if you can't persuade a hotelier to let you try it you'll hear a lot of useful information from them about their opinions.
Once you've successfully let out a suite a few times you can write it up in your business plan - proving the business is viable will go a long way towards getting a bank to invest in your idea.0 -
You might find you need planning permission - a flat or house you can live in cannot necessarily be rented out by the night, I think....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0

Thanks for all that information, its all being processed believe me.
Yes I suppose the trashing thing would be a problem, a good deposit should cover that. In my experience girls are very sensible in ensuring their deposits are not lost through silly things and a few smashed glasses etc will not be too much of a problem.
I can just see a gap in the market whereby girls can get away to a different city in a girly house to entertain themselves as they like, like the cottages you can get in the country but in the city for the option of nights out etc.
I can see how noise may be a problem , hmmmm
Doozergirl, thankyou for taking some belief in my idea0 -
