http://www.czrb.cz/result.asp?f_category=0&f_cuisine=48&f_city=0&Full=&new_query=true thats a list of all the Vegetarian places and if you go to the main page you can select any type of place or bars
We did a full day tour of the city on a mini bus, we picked the tour up from W/S and it only cost about 10 each.
It gives you a good idea where you want to go back to for a full look.
The Jewish Quarter is really nice so is the old town and you have to stand and wait for the clock to strike.
Visit the castle area as well
Take a slow walk over the charles bridge in the day and at night (very romantic).
The musem at the top of W/S isnt upto much but if you have a spar half hour its worth going in because the buliding is very pretty on the inside or if its raining its worth going in.
If I think of anything else I will add it.If you look anything like your passport photo....Your too ill to travel0 -
thanks checked out the link very helpful-cheers! What about bargains to buy over there anything that is cheaper then it is here that I could bring back? or special items that aren't available over here?0

I collect perfume bottles and christmas tree decorations when I go anywhere and the glass out there is very nice (not always a bargain) and as I am a big lovers of glass thats where I spent most of my time, Like a kid with her nose pressed up against a sweetie shop
I did find a nice old piece of Lalique though for 100 when I got it home and had it valued it was worth 750 so keep an eye open in the junk shops.
Clothes I didnt find that much cheaper but in all honesty I dont shop (yes I am female) for stuff I can get in the UK so I only looked in the main area W/S.
A friend of mine went out and he said the shopping was really good in Brno but thats about a 2 hour drive.
Maybe someone else can help with the retail side of PragueIf you look anything like your passport photo....Your too ill to travel0 -
I have found most branded stuff to be about the same prices as the UK so no real bargains to be had in that respect.
Eating and drinking out can be pretty cheap as long as you avoid the main tourist type restaurants and bars and seek out places that are slightly off the beaten track. You only have to go a couple of streets back from the main squares and there are some proper gems hidden away.
One last thing, if your hotel room has a mini-bar, DON'T USE IT! Buy some snacks, soft drinks, wine, beer or whatever from a supermarket instead! There is a big Tesco near to Wenceslas Square.
Have a great time. This space has been intentionally left blank0
