Coverage and Care

In your opinions who will be the best for coverage and customer care. Thanks. Looking to move from Orange next month (should have been this month but i made a dogs bo***** of it!). Any advice much appreciated. Looking at a Nokia N70 or Sanmsung D600 so any advice on these would be helpful.

customer care, virgin beats all the others hands down. i have never ever had a problem with them and any problems i have had with my service or phone they have stayed on the line and fixed it there and then. they are very friendly and dont fob you off which is why i will never change. however, their coverage is not as good as say, orange or o2. i guess you have to weigh it up..
Fr. Stack: While you were out, I got the keys to your car. And drove it into a big wall. And if you don't like it, tough. I've had my fun, and that's all that matters.
  • i find orange has the best signal.
i live in an area where vodafone and o2 are rubbish yet i have full signal most of the time.
can't comment on customer care, happily i've never had to deal with them

I think O2 have been great CS-wise - I have emailed them on several occasions and have always had good experiences.

On the most recent occasion I had got a new sim card with a nicer phone number and wanted my credit transferring (£15-odd). I emailed them and asked if it was possible; they emailed back and said what info they needed (sim card serial nos etc.); the next day (10am on a Saturday) my sim card went dead - job done. Took me by surprise it was so quick and efficient! :T

Network coverage will always vary from location to location. I have found O2 to be excellent in my area and the areas I travel to and from.

Their customer service has been excellent and I have had any enquires dealt with to a very high standard - Well Done O2 :)

I voted Orange because of the best coverage, but would tend towards 3 for best customer service, especially as they've rung me up twice with answers to a query from a week ago, that neither O2 or Orange can answer.

currently o2 online customer, 50-50 for customer care when I call usually helpful or an idiot - great for coverage

last 3 yrs experience ( signal area is east scotland )

Voda care nil points, coverage at best - good (handset problems so cannot judge signal truely)

T-mobile care nil points, below average coverage

Orange payg care very good, good signal

Virgin payg care average, signal below average

3 care nil points, coverage great except calling dropping between 2/3 G handover

*Each network was tried with a large selection of different handsets
If I helped or saved you money - Thank me
If I helped you spend some money - spank me
    If I done both - :lipsrseal me:eek:
    :D
    ;)
