How to unlock a Tesco Nokia 1100?

(I know there are 2 Nokia threads, but I have never read them before and there are loads of pages. Also some of the stuff sounds very technical to me and I don't understand it.)


I bought this phone for my mother's birthday. I have just put her O2 Sim card in and it won't work. I was surprised because my husband bought a Tesco Nokia a while ago and it was not locked. My oldest son told me that Nokias were never locked.

Can anyone help me?

I know that a code is needed? Would it be possible to send it to me?

Also, could you tell me what to do because I have never unlocked a phone before.

the code for 1100 is free,.. i think it should be locked too virgin ?

read the Nokia code threads and get a code from one of them sites

but the code may not work,.

if it dont then i can genarate a unlocking code for u as i have a ufs3 unlocking box,. i would need ur imei number,. u might want to pm it,.. but theres no danger of posting ur imei

Please place your imei number, make of Nokia and the network, ie Tesco, on the Unlock codes for Nokia thread and one of the users there will get back to you with the codes you require.
