Ello all,
I'm looking at getting a new digi camera for crimbo. I have a fuji finePix A204, slightly old and outdated now, very impressive with outdoor pictures (or any pics with good lighting), not so good at indoor and darker shots.
Because I have the fuji, I also have 2 xD mem cards and know if I move away from Fuji these will b useless to me.
I've been told to get a Pentax camera if I want to upgrade. Any suggestions? I want a slim newish camera that is better than my current 2.1m-pixel that can handle indoor pics better.
With all the cams out there I need to know what makes to avoid (if any) and what makes to try get.
Any good review websites for digi cams?
Thx for all who helped in advance! :T

I am waiting for Pixmania to deliver my Canon Ixus 55. I got it for £215 delivery included. Having visited all the usual camera shops and played around with the cameras on display I settled for the Ixus because of size, screen size (huge) and friends recommend. My second choice would have been a Nikon.0

Got it down to these:-
-Pentax S5z
-Fuji Z1
-Canon Ixus 55

I bought a CASIO Exilim EX -Z40 last year, and I have been delighted. (It has a pentax lens). I was in Australia, and took loads of photo's there, then throughout Asia and Europe. Inside and out in all times of day, weather and light conditions.
The photo's have been so good that when I photographed my nieces wedding the photos I used were almost exclusively from this camera, although I used two 35mm cameras too! (I produced an album and did the photo's as her wedding present).
It's a brilliant little camera - and I'd recommend it to anyone.0 -
I've got an Ixus, and really like them. Wouldn't mind upgrading as mines the older v3. The 55 would be the obvious choice.
One that's caught my eye though is the Finepix F10.

Or possibly the Sony DSC-W7."Boonowa tweepi, ha, ha."0 -
