Ok,i found the cheapest to be £149.99 from orange online,but if i had it,and unlocked it to o2 would this invalid the 1 yr warranty,or could they not tell?and also would it still have the orange menus?, thanks olly.

unlocked several phones myself from different networks and have had no problems.
as mentioned above https://www.orange.co.uk had the d500 for £129.99 earlier this week.

I was gonna buy it from there aswell but it has gone up to £150 this week! anyone know if it is cheaper anywhere else and why they have decided to put it up an extra £20?

orderd mine last week from orange £129.99 came today grey in colour looks better than the black. the lad will be happy merry xmas.

if orange.co.uk have stopped at 129.99. The link has it for 135pounds when you use there online voucher Offer (paygo10) ends 15th dec (sorry on orange again)
also there is always the Samsung E720 + Bluetooth Headset + Free Photo Printer on o2 student site http://shop.o2.co.uk/student, (you could always sell the extras on ebay) for £169.99

Go to Currys Click on the PAYG D500 from Orange @ £149.99 , add to basket then Goto Checkout appears as £134.99 . Then for a further 5% use the 5% Discount code to bring the total to £128.24 Delivered !! Bargain!
