Andan - so sorry to hear about your problems with the student. I took foregin students in for about 4 years and it wasn't until the last one that we ever had a problem - she was a nightmare, didn't go to college, spent all day in bed and literally all night out. Father was a millionnaire in Mexico. I used to meet her coming in in the morning when I was going out to work. She always left the place in a right state, had no idea about housework as she had maids at home. Sorry, this post has turned into a rant!
I now take student teachers and believe me its much better (although slightly less money).
I do sympathise with you its a difficult situation.Debt free and Keeping on Track0 -

Thanks mrs porridge, she's not come home for tea as yet, yet she complains about the meal times! We have been taking foreign students since last June and have had students ever since then and never had a problem until now. It turns out she threw a strop because my OH asked her to make sure she either closed her window or put it on the latch, as she was leaving it to just blow around and if she wasn't careful it was going to break in this wind. After that, she started to ignore my fella.
Now whose doing the ranting!!:j Live on £4500, £2531/£4500:T 101 in 1001 (52/101):j:beer::j

Bathgate, hope your ear infection clears up soon.
Cleosmum, so lovely to hear from you again, miss your posts.
Tallie, thanks for asking bout me, i am fine and can't stay away for long!1
fayjmck, on the whole i think foreign students are good, but like you said, its a shame when one ruins it for the rest. I suppose i am just more stressed about it because there is always doom and gloom about the credit crunch and i get paid such a small amount. Still, as we are always getting taught in counselling, we need to trust the process!!
Off to go write up my mystery shopping reports.
On a positive note, i have just gone and made £55 from a matched bet, so feeling slightly chuffed!!:j Live on £4500, £2531/£4500:T 101 in 1001 (52/101):j:beer::j
