  • Hi All, well ive done well today, had 30 pounds worth of nectar points so went and got the shopping for mum with that, being on nights again i bought some energy drinks on offer and bargins so i only spent about 7 pounds in all!

Mum has some argos vouchers too she gave me so ill get a puzzel or game for nights for free with them!

Bringing in book and paper to keep busy with uni work when it gets less busy tonight at work. planning however to spend entire tomo asleep!

No piggy clicks or anything and for those of you that read my post last month, have to be careful now being back on nights and lost out 1k worth of overtime being on a new shift. bummer but will try my hardest with the debt free plan....

Andan still away sophiesmum? Hope is okay. and newbies welcome again! I am picking up tips too...the DIY sounds a pain tho!

Anyways im going to get an hours sleep before work, will be on tomo eve guys keep at it...

    mornin' Sophiesmum :hello:

Have a great picture in my head of lots of oldies peering over new flooring and offering lots of advice to the folk laying the floor, maybe giving the odd prod with a walking stick to get the advice home! :rotfl:I used to do some voluntary work and enjoyed the company of the oldies, very interesting some of them.

I'm going to the optician shortly and will then spend the rest of the day doing some major housework and de-cluttering - now there's something to look forward to.... I must clean the windows...

Haven't made a payment to the saddle yet, it will be either £2.02 or £200.02, depending on whether paypal has landed yet.

    Today I will
    • clean the windows
    • do some batch soup
    • clean the stone floors
    • wash the paintwork
    • clear my ironing pile
    • clear out the top of the wardrobe
    • make a pile for ebay

Have you been peeping !!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
This is exactly what it was like, oh and don't forget all the free medical advice they gave him bout arthiritis and having bad knees when he is older:rotfl:

Piquant, I mis-read your posting about the oldies peering over the new flooring, and thought of Walshy Boy with his industrial strength urine remover :rotfl:

Poor Sophiesmum if that's the case :rotfl::rotfl:

I failed my eye test!! I have to have specs and a hospital appointment, what a nuisance!! I got discount on the specs, but, nevertheless, they've still set me back £57.45, I had budgeted for the eye test at £19.95:eek:, but am still mighty hacked off! I think there is some scheme at work where I can claim some money back, I'll have a look tomorrow when I'm in.

Done masses of housework, probably not well if I need specs :rotfl:Still haven't tackled the ironing, maybe I should wait until I get the specs??....

Hi guys, didn't post yesterday as was at work then its bombing it down the motorway to college until 8.20 before a 40min journey home. Then i was greated by the fact that our foreign student has decided she is going to move out on Sunday. All i am going to say is remind me never to accept female foreign students again!! This one seems to be doing a lot of lying and scheming. Have just been emailing back the college as she has been telling stories and being rude to my other half, despite the fact he lets her go on his computer and let her borrow his bike, for a long bike ride the other day!! Sorry just really needed to rant and rave, especially as her little stories could affect our chances of having foreign students in the future, which can affect our financial situation. I now need to start breathing before i am tempted to give her a piece of my mind!!

    Todays things are:
    -Have been to work
-Am off to my second job in a mo
    -Have done two mystery shops
    -Had free lunch out
    -Will write up reports later
    -Will make meals from storecupboad
    -Will start college work
-Will look at ways to promote my business
    -Will place some matched bets
-Will put some money in payment a day piggy
    -Will write counselling journal
    -Work through emails
    -Do any surveys i receive
    -Sort out finances
-Look at ways of cutting down
-Sort out challenges and update spreadsheets

I will read and thank everyones posts later, but must go to my second job now! Have a great evening everyone
