For the second Saturday running, we pretty much stayed in all day. The twins had football training last night, they have a match tomorrow, had a football party and swimming on Wednesday so looked a little lethargic when we got up this morning. That's my excuse anyway...
Spent £6.54 today on a spot of shopping and some more Match Attax cards. That's been it today. The leaflets for my paper rounds came today as per usual, normally only five or six per paper but a massive 15 this week. Multiply that by 347 papers* and that's a large pile of leaflets, I'll tell you.
* To save you calculating, it works out at a whopping 5,205 leaflets that need to be sorted! :eek:0 -
the mouse pops over to help you with the leaflets:D
sorry Yeovil didn't do so well yesterday- hopefully a better result next week.
Have you got shares in Match Attax cards :rotfl: I remember doing the footie cards/sticker album thing when my son was young -they end up costing a fortune and you get tons of doubles but boys love them.£2 savers club 2025 #40 -
, I only buy them on the days that the boys are here so I'm not too bad. Three more apckets each today though as they were really well behaved this weekend....:T
Spent £4.50 in Tesco's this afternoon and used the free drinks voucher tonight at the quiz so it only cost me the pound entry fee....
Busiest week ever ahead. Tomorrow I'm doing the morning and evening post runs and going into London on a booked job in between. Wednesday is "having the boys from school till 8pm" day, Thursday is "visiting the older two children" day while I have the boys again from 3.00pm on Friday. In addition, I've got to deliver 900+ catalogues, 350 newspapers plus more than 5,000 leaflets that still need to be sorted. I guess its a case of getting my head down and ploughing on really.0 -
sounds like a quiet week then:rotfl:£2 savers club 2025 #40

Today didn't go as I'd planned, not all bad though.
Did the morning post run then was just about to set off for London when the M4 was closed by an accident. That screws up any chance of getting a good run to London so I emailed the customer to tell him before revising the plans. Got another chunk of the leaflets organised for Wednesday, my mate John came round and we got 140 catalogues done between us...:T . Did the evening post run tonight, have just written a 800-word article for you-know-what and now have some other paperwork to sort before bedtime.
Missing the boys today too...:(0 -
awwwwwwwwww Martin - it won't be long until you see the boys again. Well done on getting more catalogues done£2 savers club 2025 #40

Struggling under the bearance of work this week. I'll be glad when the weekend comes.... like that'll be any relief...:rotfl:
Yesterday, went to London on a booked job. Bought lunch on the way  , got back, had tea then straight off down to Yeovil to watch the football. We won 3-2 :T :T :j but I didn't get back until midnight....
Today did the morning and evening post run plus the first 200 papers. John took another 80 catalogues; I picked the boys up from school :T , fed them then took them back home at 8.00pm which gave me enough time to write an 800-word article for the programme before dapping off to skittles....now I'm hanging....:D
Money...
Yesterday - Petrol £63.00, car parking £2.00, lunch £3.26, tea and drinks last night £7.20:rolleyes: , programme £3.00

Another long day today but it was nice to see my oldest two children. I see them once a fortnight and they're growing into fine young people:D :T

Just the catalogues left to do now, thank goodness. There's 620 of them left which will take me four days next week.
Popped into town yesterday morning to pick up some birthday cards as there's another party for them tomorrow. Had already been shopping too and picked the boys up to take them to school.
Picked the boys up from school yesterday afternoon, home for tea then football training in the evening.
