T-mobile PAYG phone < £40

Anyone recommend me a new PAYG phone < £40 available on T-mobile ? Its for my mother so has to be easy to use / largish buttons

Currently looking at Nokia 1600 but any other recommendations ? Looking for candybar style so no clamshells etc.

Why don't you buy the Nokia 6030 from the O2 student site (http://shop.o2.co.uk/student/o2uk/jsp/handsets/viewHandsetDetails.jsp?prodID=consumer:NOK:6030:GROUP) for £29.99, and get it unlocked on here, or maybe the Nokia 2600 from Virgin £39.99 (http://www.virginmobile.com/mobile/cms/view-page?page=NOK-STD-2600-1) but comes with a sim with £5 plus a £10 top-up, you could either use that or sell it on eBay. Again very easy to unlock.

The Link were advertising a Nokia 1100 for £14.99 last week. £40 is far too much to pay for a basic easy to use PAYG handset!

I was looking for spare phone, and been chasing stuff at ebay. Most of the unlock phones go for £25-£30. Whats the point of buying a used phone (with very little left in battery) from ebay, if i can get brand new phone for £30.

By the way, I picked up the above phone from Comet Store at the same price. It is nice little phone and it is Nokia !!!!

I have also managed to unlock it using one of the free code generators :-)
