Good price for a smartphone on the student section of the O2 website;

Refurbished, but they are usually like new.

hi, this has already been posted a few times- after a bit of trouble i got mine today, havent got round to opening it yet but chuffed at the price, just hope it has the updated firmware as there were quite a few problems with the old one.Fr. Stack: While you were out, I got the keys to your car. And drove it into a big wall. And if you don't like it, tough. I've had my fun, and that's all that matters.0

As far as I know, this has only been available on contract before, so that'll mean it's unlocked.
Mine still had the front protective film on, and it was indeed unlocked!
Lovely phone!

i just opened it. everything seems fine, phone is as new (film on, no scratches etc.) no memory card though, and i seem to have a problem. o2 sent me a sim with £10 credit on but when i tried to make a call it wouldnt let me. i tried again and now it is letting me make calls but saying my balance is zero? any ideas? oh and yes its unlocked, i will test the firmware now.Fr. 3.0505, the old firmware. guess ill have to try it out over a long period of time to see if it has the usual bugs (shutting off, hanging, camera going dodgy after a while have been reported with this firmware.)

No, unfortunately I didn't, I think it's a bit of a shame, it has happened to me before. I guess it would also be missing the data cd, headset, and usb cable.
I bought a headset for £4.50 delivered on ebay, and I'm not worried about the others.
As for the memory, the 32Mb card would never have been enough anyway, it accepts MMC I believe, so they should be quite cheap. I'd expect to pay £10-£20 for anything between 128Mb and 512Mb.
Another option is to go for the RS-MMC which should also work, and be more useful in future phones. I think a place called "picstop" is quite good for memory on the net.

i believe the 3230 can hold rs-dv mmc cards and normal rs mmc cards but not the large mmc cards0
