If they leave the post box outside 'active', couldn't you still use it? I know it's no longer really a post office, but for now at least I'd still use it if it was me...0

The nearest post office is 4 miles away and I'm not really up for walking that 3 times a week for 16 stamps a month!
17. The Post Office I use has closed. What do I do?
Post in one of your usual post-boxes or enter a new posting point in the Manage my Postboxes section of the site if you are using another Post Office.Good Enough Club Member No 390 -
I used to just post in the post box outside, but now they've taken that away too, its like we don't matter if we're out in the sticks0

I got the survey to work finally, turns out it was an IE issue so had to go through Firefox, but then found out my postcode area was full :-(0

Has anyone been sent test mail from DWP? I just received one without an R number saying "This is a test item from DWP sent on behalf of Research International Ltd. The test item , both the envelope and contents should be returned to us next Friday. Together with any other test mail." Is this normal? I'm just a bit concerned it might affect my benefits. Prob just panicking because we don't get any money for doing this. In any case I have resigned from doing the surveys. My illness won't let me keep up with it all. How long before test stuff stops coming?0

I would guess 3 weeks maximum as thats how long you have to give them notice for any Holidays etc...they will have already sent their packs out for the next couple of weeks and so your name/address might be in those etc2020 Mortgage-Free Wannabes #20 £1495.03/£2760 OP0 -
Hey hey, first training pack's arrived. Two letters to send out next week, with R numbers of 0000 and 0000; I assume that's because it is the first training pack, so the R numbers don't actually mean anything.
We'll see if RI want to keep me on after I get these two out. Yes I've had about 4 or 5 of these - other people on this thread have also mentioned having them, so they are part of the survey.
Not really had the phone calls though - just the online resolve queries.Good Enough Club Member No 390
