I have always had problems with my mail in the two years I have lived at my current address. Mostly with periods of a week or so with no mail and then one day a weeks worth in one day. I suspect its because I live at the bottom of a steep hill which the only way back to the main road is to go back up it. I also normally see my postman on his rounds and the days he doesn't have his car I get no mail.
Anyway since I have been doing the survey l I keep getting a letter from Royal Mail with a postcard inside asking me to put the date which I recieve the letter on the postcard and send it back. The postcard is addressed to the manager at my sorting office with a reference number written on. Has anyone had this happen? I wondered if it was connected to the data I am providing to they survey people? Or if it was a random thing done by royal Mail? But also if Royal Mail are spending all this money getting this company to do these surveys then why are they sending out postcodes for people to send back???

It looks like your sorting office manager has his/her doubts about your postman too,and yes i suppose it could be connected
If you board the wrong train, it is no use running along the corridor in the other direction.

I've had the Royal Mail's own survey too, my postman is inclined to 'forget' me too if the weather is bad and he doesn't want to come up the muddy lane, I also get masses on one particular day - I'm sure he saves themup - but can't really prove anything. On the news yesterday there was something about postmen needing to speed up, round here by the time he's opened the farm gates, skidded his way up a muddy track, shoo-ed sheep out of the way, a town postie has probably finished his round!! I think the RM's own survey is just a random thing, I've heard of others getting it who have no particular problems.
  • I'm doing a misdirected survey at the moment.

Do I just put the mail and parcel my postie delivers, or do I add on the mail van? Also I just got a parcel from Parcelforce, does that go on?:D

From what I can remember of doing one of these some months ago, your instructions from them should tell you exactly which items you need to include.

    Next question!

I had an email from Kantar today saying that if the Royal Mail go on strike to only log my mail after I had been able to post it as some post boxes may be sealed up. Also some post offices may be closed. If that happened to post on the same day the following week. I didn't hear any mention of a strike on the news anyone heard anything.
