  • I registered, got the training pack and the free stamps, then they sent me an email the next day saying they had enough people in my area!
    Ah well, 22 free stamps for nothing! That will help in posting my Christmas cards.

    I get a bit confused at times with recieved mail. I am not certain of the difference between a franking mark and a postmark. Also when the envelope has one of those already printed marks on, from business etc, is that a postmark or a franking mark? :confused:

    There are pictures on the FAQ that explain it but basically a franking mark is instead of a stamp so usually has the price, company name and date. A post mark is usually what is put on the stamp ones.

    Like some others, I can't access the survey site at the moment, or at least I can't using my own ISP (Orange) I can access it through another ISP (BT) using the same computer and I can also access it using a 3rd party's Proxy server. So this is highly unlikely to be a local issue with anyone's browser or computer setup - Before anyone dives out to try a differnt browser, I have tried IE8 (My default) IE7, Chrome, Firefox & Opera with the same results.

    As I can't access http://www.research-int.com/ or http://67.192.179.131 my guess is that it is most likely a routing issue with Orange.

    [edit] Having checked www.orangeproblems.co.uk it appear that there maybe a problem with Orange and servers in the London area. As far as I can interpret the comments this may be having knock-on effects on other ISPs too. Orange are aware so there is not much you can do if you can't connect at the moment.

    I am with Orange too, have tried the different browsers and it still doesn't work, have tried the freephone number but it seems they are over-run with calls as I can't get through to speak to an operator.

    I get the times literay supplement and when i go to enter the details on that the dates never match. I just put the one closest to it.

    I get Utility Week (is there anything more boring??) and the dates are always two days out. It's published on a Friday but they always seem to have the Wednesday date on the list. I've just been clicking the date that is right for that week and they haven't complained so far!

    Is everyone that's having difficulty in not getting on to the site with Orange?
    I am and am also not able to get on to www.capitalone.co.uk which is my credit card - I was able to get onto that site a few days ago - every other site I've tried seems to be OK. Thank goodness because if I had not been able to get onto moneysavingexpert I might have thought I was alone in having the problem!

    I'm with Orange too and can't access the site, I had the same problem accessing Grabitnow for a couple of days too but that seems to be working now so I'm hopeful I'll be able to log on soon!!

    Just got this email : -

    Good Afternoon
    Sincere apologies that you have been experiencing problems accessing our
    website.
    We have done some initial investigations and it would seem that the
    issue is arising with some panellists who use the following Internet
    Service Providers:
    * Orange
    * Wanadoo
    * Freeserve
    * FS Net
    * Tiscali
    If you are not using one of the above service providers, but are unable
    to access our website, please let us know which service provider you are
    using.
    Please also let us know if you are having difficulties accessing any
    other site as this may help us identify the issue.
    If you are using one of the above service providers, please keep a
    record of your sent or received items and we will update you once we
    find out what is causing this problem and we able to resolve it.
    Many thanks for your patience.
    Regards

    Got offered another survey to check all incoming mail. Great as its another £6 of vouchers. Agree the diary is great. The large stamps are coming in handy too as I didn't realise how many large birthday cards I send.
