Well 2 items which I know were posted 1st class on Thursday last week to me (not survey ones) have turned up this morning. We didn't have any post at all yesterday.
The sorting office staff must be able to feel the smarts through the envelopes. Wonder is Research International will email us all about this.April £5 a day challenge- £15.05/£1500 -

I would like to find out some more detail on this. I don't dispute the general push of the article but a lot of the detail within seems dodgy to me. Such as emptying postboxes early: I thought the actual collection times had to be logged, so that wouldn't work and they'd have to break into one of my delivery packs to find out what postboxes I use and that has never happened - unless they are very skilled at resealing envelopes I think I would have noticed.
The callout "How the scam worked" has a major flaw in the first item: "Panelists send each other letters containing the name and address of the sender"
I don't think I need to tell many people here that we don't include the sender's name and address!
And call me naive if you wish, but I don't believe in the general mass conspiracy theories that the Daily Mail seem so fond of. I mean, how many people would need to be involved in the sort of scam they suggest to make sure that the test post I often receive from the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man get priority treatment. (if you're here :hello:) Surely there would be too many people to keep that secret for long.
Sad to say, if it is all found to be true and proven, I wouldn't be surprised to see all the current panelists replaced. We are supposed to be secret shoppers: once we stop being secret we lose all usefulness to the survey. It would be very hard to know which of us have actually been rumbled so the only sensible move would be to start over again with brand new panelists.
SPCome on people, it's not difficult: lose means to be unable to find, loose means not being fixed in place. So if you have a hole in your pocket you might lose your loose change.0 -
