There is a burst water main in the London Bridge area, buildings in the area have been evacuated.

    Just received this via email:

    Dear *************,

Due to severe flooding at our London office, you will be unable to access our data-entry website to log test items you have posted or received.

Please manually record details of any sent or received items to input online when the internet site is functioning again. If you are unsure whether or not to include a SMART with an item then please send the item without a SMART and indicate accordingly online when the website is operational again.

Please check back to the website daily for further updates. Thank you for your patience in this matter, we apologise for any inconvenience caused and will endeavour to restore full service as quickly as possible.

    Kind regards,
    The Postal Survey Team

Yes, the Tower Bridge area is awash (very close to London Bridge and I think the offices are based somewhere between the 2 bridges) - some digger burst the mains last night I think...
Yeah, whatever. I'm a grown up, I can take it...

Yes If they have allocated a Smart then when you come to input info it asks whether you enclosed XZXZ smart just click on no then it will offer the other Smarts in your stock and you just click on the one you enclosed and the reason why when that comes up

  • I just spoke to Joanne and she said not to put a Smart inside an item, send it without the Smart and then when we can enter it later then select 'No smart added'
