Royal Mail Surveys

thanks for the info about the royal mail surveys
might give them a go0 -
I sometimes need to send items back twice in one week if I've received a lot of them - and therefore use both barcodes. Recently I received 8 items on one day alone and most of them were bulky. I find I can't always get a really stuffed grey envelope through the slot on the post box depending on which one I'm passing that day.
I've never had more than about 5 things a week, but I do have to wait till I'm in a town to post them, they don't fit in our country post boxes0 -

I seem to be receiving a lot these days! Last week I got about 15 items and 8 Smarts, plus I was really lucky and got to have Frank for a week

I seem to be getting a lot of items with no R number that never show up on the web - I preferred the yellow sticker method cos they I didn't have to keep them lying around for three weeks. Not buying unnecessary toiletries 2024 26/53 UU, 25 IN0

No, basically you have to count all the post that you receive and record details of any that are misdirected, eg wrong name and address. It seems quite complicated when you first read the instructions but actually is quite simple to do.
You do, however, have to be available for the 2 weeks that any survey takes.
I have always found it an easy £6 as I very rarely have a misdelivery but, of course, that could change!
Just to point out that the name is only relevant if the item is actually for someone who does receive mail there but the address is not correct. This allows for the fact that a postman can know that Mr Snodgrass lives at 3 The Close rather than 5 The Close and puts the envelolpe through the correct letterbox. It also covers re-directed mail. In those cases though the address may appear to be wrong it was not misdelivered - it is reaching the right person.0 -
I have been receiving a lot of mail which is my surname but not my intials, am I right in thinking that I am to update these details on the royal mail website when I received it and the condition of the mail, and then return them into the big white stamped address envelope. And that the initials are wrong for a reason??
Also, the £6 vouchers which I received, I am only to return the paperwork if I was to receive mail in the wrong name and wrong address for me and others who I live with??
TIA xx0 -

I always return the paperwork as they usually also record how many items were received on each day2020 Mortgage-Free Wannabes #20 £1495.03/£2760 OP0 -

Yes, the first column asks how many items in total you received on each day. I fill that bit in and leave the rest blank if nothing is wrong.
Done that kind of survey 4 times now so I think they'd tell me if I was doing it incorrectly!0 -

Are you getting fashion catalogues in white envelopes? I'm getting a lot of these each week and they never appear on the website, even 3 weeks after I've logged them as having no R number.0
