I am still searching for a new laptop and would like to pay as little as £250, but can afford £400 max. Only want to look as web and use excel, word. Nothing else.
Is this a good price?

Is it as good as the £349 Tesco Acer http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.204-6256.aspx that they calim has £100 off or the £379 Toshiba John Lewis laptop?

I went for the Acer 5720 as shown above in the end.
£350 (down from £450)
2.2 GHz Core 2 Duo processor
2 GB RAM
160 GB hard drive
Intel X3100 graphics (not good enough for heavy/new games but great for everyday use)
Vista Home Premium
