  • Ohh me too lol. *blush* But I DID get up early and hang out three loads of washing to dry, so I felt I deserved it. Hehe.

It is hard to stay away from take away and convenience things while money savings, seems it is where the best savings are to be made and well worth it, but once in a while lol...

Did some some pizzas I got whoopsied and they were great for having instead of takeaways but all gone now. Want to try making my own and freezing them, might head over to OS and find out when best to freeze em, because have had them fail in the past when trying this...

Anyway, sorry for blabbing on about food, lol, must be still hungry!!

Had take-away last night *slaps hand*. OH and I cleared out one of the spare rooms and I did a load of paperwork. I am having left-overs tonight which I suppose is one positive from a negative!

I have not done anything from the list I posted yesterday. Need to get moving. Will aim to get credit cards done today.

Take ways are a hard one, I know i'm going to find it hard not to nip into Tesco to pick up one of there take away bags. The real test for me is we are going on a self catering holiday for a week and i'm going to see if we can take loads of food, frozen included. I just know i'm going to fail:rolleyes:
    Kind Regards

I am SO dissapointed with myself... I've done really well with bulk cooking & freezing meals and leftover raw meat. I bought 1 pack of chicken legs and one pack of mini chicken fillets on Saturday. I used half of each packet on Saturday & Sunday night. Thought to myself, I must remember to freeze the other packet or use them up within the next few days. Expiry dates on both packets are today so last night, I thought - MUST freeze those. I took them out of the cling film and BOTH packets had gone off so had to be chucked. I am really dissapointed with myself for not freezing them on Monday (at the latest!) but, I kept thinking - no, I will use those tomorrow night...

Money chucked in the bin - probably about £3.00. I am not happy.

I finally got my credit cards sorted so, I should be transfering balances within 7 days! I'm also transfering my LX Direct balance and my OH's Argos balance so we can close the accounts as they haven't been used for years... Paying far too much interest! Updated list of MS things to do:

    1. Transfer store cards to new 0% balance transfer card and close the accounts
    2. Send OH's phone to envirofone
    3. Book in car boot sale
    4. Put items on ebay

Didn't get loads done last week but I've been busy so, fingers crossed I can get a bit done this week!

I have been absolutely MANIC the last few weeks so haven't had time to update. Balances have all been transferred and 1 account out of 4 has been closed, so far. I still have not completed my list from 21 Oct so, really need to get moving on that. Onwards and upwards...!

Still as manic as I was 2 weeks ago...

Good news - I found out a loan we had on a car finished in November, I thought we had another year on it! So, that's £119.75 which will go into the ISA towards the wedding every month from December. YEAH!! :)
