Hi ashbart,

Grow your own veg and fruit.
If you can get an allotment or have a garden do it as to date i have saved over £4000 in three years of having an allotment. This includes the money i've saved and odd few pounds here and there that neighbours have given me.
That's what got me started on sorting out my debts and I still watch what i spend. I write down what i save using coupons how much veg would have cost me - of course i could be going mad with all this recording of my spending.Kind Regards

Hi mum of 4!
Something I forgot to add to the list! Thanks! Will add straight away! I have been growing bits and pieces. Potatoes, strawberries, runner beans. I did not do very well with the strawberries & runner beans but, I've had at least 3 bags of potatoes! I am going to make an effort to grow more this year.
Thanks for your post! Ash xxOfficial DFW Member 716 - Proud to be dealing with my debts0 -

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to try and spend my MOC's yet as I haven't been for a proper food shop for over a week! Good for saving money though!!
A close mate gave me loads of stuff yesterday to sell at a car boot so, MUST get one booked in...!
I've got my last lot of home grown potatoes to dig up and use. Also used two meals from the freezer this week and I'm having leftover Cottage Pie at work today - how MS is that?!?Official DFW Member 716 - Proud to be dealing with my debts0 -
Spent 2 MOC's this weekend!! I've decided to make a deal with myself. For all MOC's used, I will transfer twice the amount into my ISA. This weekend, I used £6 Airwick coupon and £1 Food Doctor coupon so, I'll transfer £14 + a backdated £0.30 into my ISA this week.
MSing things to do this week:
1. Lower the credit limit on my Next, Index & OH's Argos card. What's the point in having all that available credit?!?
2. Transfer 2 x credit cards as 0% interest ends in November.
3. Send off OH's phone to envirofone.
4. Book in to a car boot sale!
5. Put a few bits on ebay.
Hopefully that should keep me going this week. To keep on track, I really need to make another £366.80 before the end of October. When I look at it that way, it's quite depressing, really...! And then it starts all over again in November.....Official DFW Member 716 - Proud to be dealing with my debts0 -
Had take-away last night *slaps hand*. OH and I cleared out one of the spare rooms and I did a load of paperwork. I am having left-overs tonight which I suppose is one positive from a negative!
I have not done anything from the list I posted yesterday. Need to get moving. Will aim to get credit cards done today.Official DFW Member 716 - Proud to be dealing with my debts0
