Son in Debt

Hi, this is my first time asking for advice, so please bare with me. My 22yr old has accumilated alot of credit card debt, the problem is he has missed a few payments on them so he has lost the deals which he originaly had with them and is now paying the full interest rate on the debt. The payments are so high he cannot afford to pay them all, he has also got a bank loan. He is also incurring fines because of missed payments. He has tried to apply for new credit cards to move the debt to better interest rates but he gets refused. He has also called debt helplines, but they say he is not in enough debt to get help. Has anybody got any ideas on what to do. Thanks.

Get him to post his SOA on the DFW board. He'll get plenty of help there and it will encourage him to take responsibility for his own problems.0

Here is the tool for putting his SOA together and the board link is in my signature

He has to list EVERYTHING if the gang there is going to help him otherwise it won't give an accurate picture. Whatever you do though do NOT bail him out! It will only make things worse in the long term.DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!
