"Oops" indeed.
Serve him right.
I hope they crushed his bike and made him watch.0 -
Crushing his bike makes as much sense as banning him from watching TV for a year.
He didn’t have a crash or hurt anyone but was taking the pi$$, got caught and punished
End of story really0 -
He didn't hurt anyone out of dumb luck.
Someone who does wheelies at over 80mph in a 30mph zone should not be allowed to have a motorbike; they're clearly too stupid to operate one on a public road.
Preventing someone from habitually committing a dangerous crime by removing their means to do so is hardly the same as imposing the seemingly random punishment of stopping them from watching TV.0 -
The ban will prevent him doing it again, crushing his bike (even with the added random nastiness of making him watch) is just like an additional fine.
Or do you mean crush it and don’t let him buy another? For a year? Five years? Ever? What if he already has two bikes?0 -

It's not "random". One's actions have consequences. This person obviously fails to comprehend this, so he clearly needs a little help understanding the principle.Or do you mean crush it and don’t let him buy another? For a year? Five years? Ever? What if he already has two bikes?
He can buy all the bikes he likes. If this is how he's going to use them though, he should not be allowed on the roads with them.
Driving is a privilege, not a right.0 -
Haha lol, thought he'd get away with it. Guess he'd have done two finger signals to the camera if he wasn't pulling wheelies, lol.0

Bit harsh, its sooo easy to pop a wheelie on one of those things.0

Yep, and the consequences are laid down by law and have been applied by the magistrates. What I’m struggling to get my head round is your desire have his bike crushed and the logic of making him watch.
On a different point, does anyone know why he got so many points for what appears to be 4 speeding offences?0 -
This was apparently how he got his points (from the BBC website)
He received six points for each speeding offence and an extra three points for driving without control
He pled guilty to six speeding offences
Anyone know what his defence in court was?
"Sorry your honour but please take into account that I am a !!!!!!"0 -
