Urgent- BFPO addresses???

    Yes, you still need tracking.

    However, you have to post to the address on the transaction details page. So if eBay "do not accept BFPO addresses into their system", then such a transaction wouldn't be covered.

    However, given what the OP has said, this sounds pretty low risk to me.

    Thanks again for your views. If she bids, I don't see a problem sending as long as I receive my payment. She seems to have good track record on ebay as well.

    The military take a dim view of their personnel running up debts etc (security risk and all that) so sending to BFPO addresses should be as safe as anywhere else if not safer.

    Slightly off point but if you are sending to a BFPO address use Royal mail and not a courier. Some couriers are OK but if your courier is not on the list the items will be bounced back at the BFPO depot.

    Recently sent a stereo to a chap in Germany and they wouldn't accept it in the UK. It eventually went to his mother in UK but took about a fortnight to sort out.
