Did you pay by paypal? just open up a dispute as she is not replying to emails on that account now, she will claim she will post more but amazingly never does.

I think the 25 mile round trip would be your only option as christmas post is starting to get delayed now ... has taken 5 days for a first class letter from my mum to me (240 miles) and that was first class :(

    thanks for the reply

you're right...she keeps promising that they are in the post! and i keep giving her the benefit of the doubt!!:o

i opened a dispute already but now she is not replying. do i escalate to a claim now??
And truth be told I miss you...

  • Thanks so much for this thread everybody - read the whole thing through last night (took ages!), and had to make a trip to Lakeland and Asda today! Good job they're not too far!

Anyway, I've spent a very pleasant evening making up my first batch! I came up with another rhyme as I got the chocolate that needed milk:

This Snowman Soup is just for you -
Three spoons per cup (there's enough for two)
Add to hot milk and stir it up
And then - before you drain the cup -
    Sprinkle with the chocolate chips
Give a stir with the Snowman [candy] stick,
Top off with the mallow snow
And give your heart a Christmas glow!

Well done everyone on all your brilliant efforts and advice! :T

Vaz, personally I would escalate to a claim now as you are more likely to recieve your money back, remember to leave her negative feedback, even though she isn't tading under that name now the proof is still there on the off chance she does start to trade on that name and she cannot leave you negative at all.

  • Hey guys, I've finally given it a go and made my snowman soups. I am quite pleased with how they turned out, the only problem I have is that I cant find any candy canes anywhere, everywhere by me seems to have sold out! Am going on the hunt this weekend.

Thanks, I like it, lol. My little man is only 7months old so didnt do much of the making but he did have fun playing with the curling ribbon! lol
  • Ooh, glad you all liked the rhyme! Please do feel free to use it, and I'm happy to have helped! :D

I tried to get candy canes today but everywhere had sold out! As an alternative, I found some little foil covered snowman chocs in Wilkinson's, so I've put one of them on each one instead. I've got the snowman swizzle sticks from Lakeland so it doesn't matter too much. I'll post a pic after I've got hubby to make my tags!
