Finally managed to do my snowman soup. After waiting 3 weeks for my bags that never arrived, i had to do a trip to lakeland to buy some.

HI everyone, I saw this post last week and was inspired to make my own snowman soup! xx:j
:jIm now a Mrs woohoo :j
  • Just wanted to say what a great idea this is! Have just received the bags and spent some hours creating own special "personalised" poem( not a large one, just 20 lines or so), so will make one for OH. One thing that confuses me-the bag looks quite big, surely the contents would be too much for a standard mug esp with the choc and marshmallows? Do I have to get one of those huge pint mugs to go with it?

Usually you would put enough 'ingredients' in a cone for 2 servings, but none of the poems seem to mention this!
2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family.
It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,000
  • was thinking about putting that it's 2 servings on the back of the tag.
went to tesco to get all my ingredients for xmas baking and they have run out of mini marshmallows apart from very small boxes of very mini marshmallows which were £1.29!
  • ive done this on the back of my tags

hope you can see it ok
i printed out the tag then the "instructions" and laminated it

  • Threelittlepigs- sorry to be a dimwit but how do you laminate things smaller than A4? I have a laminator but have only ever done A4 things! Do you use smaller pouches?

Thanks in advance- such a good idea to include instructions on the back of the label!

  • Yes, I thought it must be two portions. But I also think a huge mug idea to go with it in this case is nice, esp if you presnt it to OH, could share together!:)
got-it-spend-it hope you don't mind if I answer your question- you'd have to use a cutter or I guess scissors would be ok as well-just laminate whole A4 and then cut
  • So you just use an A4 laminating pouch then trim to size? Sounds easy enough. Thank you, Kiwi_fruit!

Just thought I would show you the labels that OH has made for me :)

He used the same verse as on the other tags but added his own pictures etc ... I think they look great :D:D what do you think?
